The Good Part

Any other company would use this section to tell you about their sustainability efforts. In many cases, the term "sustainability" gets stretched, overused, and greenwashed so that companies can appear as something they're not. And what does sustainability mean anyway? ⁣Pandion's founder has a Master's degree in sustainability, so it’s a concept our company is pretty familiar with.

By definition, to be "sustainable" means to maintain at a certain rate or level. To continue. It's a buzzword that many companies get lost in, and we want to do more for our area than help it maintain or continue; we want to help it improve.

So what are we trying to do here? The answer is simple: good. We want to do something good for our local economy, good for our environment, and good for the identity of the coastal southeast. We’re achieving this by weaving other local businesses directly into our supply chain.

Our tees are American-made (some are made here in NC!), printed with water-based inks in NC, and designed here in Wilmington. Our eco-friendly hats blend fashion and sustainability. Each piece is crafted with care from recycled materials so you can feel good about your purchase. By operating this way, our business helps support local manufacturing, American agriculture, and Wilmington artists. ⁣

In the spirit of doing 'good', we're also happy to share that our commitment extends to the environment by ditching single-use plastics. We hate it when that stuff ends up in our waterways and on our beaches.

As we grow, so will our ability to do more good. Stay tuned.
